WHITEWATER RAFTING IN HORSESHOE CANYON
Calling all adventurers. Step up the excitement on this half-day Bow River Horseshoe Canyon Whitewater adventure! This is a wet and wild river trip that offers thrills, adventure, and striking scenery less than one hour from Banff.

Curving out from the front range of the Canadian Rockies, the Bow River Horseshoe Canyon has been drawing thrill-seekers with its big waves and spirited class 2-4 whitewater rapids for decades. The steep walls of the shale canyon also offer an excellent opportunity to view large birds of prey and nesting cliff swallows – not to mention cliff jumping! That’s right, along the way our river guides will stop and let you try a heart-pumping cliff jump! (Don’t worry, the cliff jump is optional).

Highly trained professional river guides provide not only just excitement, but interpretive information about the features and history of this unique Canadian Rockies area.

A TASTE OF CANMORE CULINARY TOUR
The culinary tour includes entertaining storytelling guides and carefully thought-out food and beverage pairings made with local ingredients. You’ll get a better understanding of the area’s food, history, culture, and the local community. The tour begins with a 1-2 course casual lunch with a pairing followed by smaller tasting stops.

JOHNSTON CANYON WALK
Banff National Park’s most popular hiking destination takes you into the depths of a magnificent limestone canyon along catwalks and amongst spectacular waterfalls. The trail begins behind Johnston Canyon Lodge. After a short climb through the forest, it descends and stays close to Johnston Creek all the way to Lower Falls. Along the way you pass over sturdy steel catwalks with railings that have been constructed and attached to the canyon walls and cliff-mounted staircases to the gorge’s Lower and Upper Falls. The impressive Lower Falls are an easy walk with a bridge across the creek serving as a viewpoint for the thundering waterfalls.

FLY/SPIN FISHING: BOW RIVER WALK & WADE
The Bow River winds its way through the mountains of Banff National Park boasting 25 miles of catch and release waters. For your day trip on the Upper Bow, you are in for an angler’s delight fishing one of the world’s great trout rivers for Brown trout, with occasional catches of Bull and Cutthroat trout. Your guides are specialists are fantastic teachers, and will give top-notch instruction and local knowledge of the region. What a better place for a novice to learn how to fly-fish or spin fish in wild, free flowing rivers surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery!

DAY TRIP TO LAKE LOUISE
A trip to the Rockies would not be complete without experiencing Lake Louise with its straight-out-of-a-postcard turquoise lake, jaw-dropping views of the Victoria Glacier and boundless opportunities for outdoor exploration. Guests come here to relax, explore, and take as many photos as their camera will hold of Victoria Glacier rising up from the turquoise waters of Lake Louise, of the amphitheater of mountains that circle the lake, of the brilliant wildflowers that surround its milky-blue waters, and of the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must-see on many bucket lists. Take time to explore by canoe or hike along the shore of the lake, wander through the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and enjoy a leisurely lunch during your time in Lake Louise. After a late afternoon lunch, guests will return to The Fairmont Banff Springs via the scenic Bow Valley Parkway.

E-BIKE & BREW TOUR
This leisurely e-bike ride travels through Banff townsite, including highlights Bow Falls, Surprise Corner, Banff Springs Hotel, Banff Downtown and Cave & Basin National Historic Site. Follow your guide and see the best of Banff Townsite on your own e-bike. The bike tour ends at a local Banff Brew Pub where guests can enjoy a well-deserved beverage, followed by a return van shuttle to the hotel.
